I started working at SECTION27 on 9 October 2017.

I am an attorney in the public health department. I am involved in litigation, advocacy and policy development which seeks to achieve equitable access to health care services for marginalized communities.

Working at SECTION27 is like being at the front line in the struggle for social justice. Every day is an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to social change.

I was admitted as an attorney in 2016 after completing my articles of clerkship at the Legal Resources Centre. I then worked as an attorney in the LRC KwaZulu-Natal satellite office where my focus was on the right to equality, children’s rights and access to justice.
