Nhlanhla is an expert in the field of health financing with special interest in public resource mobilisation and utilisation on HIV/AIDS, Maternal, Newborn, Child and Women’s Health (MNCWH), and Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) in eastern and southern Africa. He is the director of the Centre for Economic Governance and Accountability in Africa (CEGAA), a regional non-profit trust working towards achieving ‘accountable, efficient use of public resources for wellbeing’. His experience includes university teaching and many years in health financing advocacy in SA and elsewhere.
