Proposed amendments to intelligence laws in South Africa aim to address gaps highlighted by the Zondo Commission and a High-Level Review Panel, splitting the State Security Agency into two agencies. While applauding decentralisation efforts, concerns persist over potential infringements on privacy rights. These submissions are endorsed by SECTION27 and other organisations.
