Spotlight Deputy Editor

Adiel joined Spotlight as its Deputy Editor in January 2024.

His experience includes being News24’s prime editor, night journalist, senior and production journalist.

He holds a MA in Journalism and Media Studies from Wits University, a Postgraduate Diploma in Media Management from Rhodes University and a Diploma in Journalism from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology.

Adiel is also an award-winning journalist, having won the Discovery Best Health News Reporting of the Year award.
