Gauta Mashego

Candidate Attorney

Gauta joined SECTION27 as a Candidate Attorney in January 2025 and was an intern during the winter break in 2024.

She recently graduated with her LLB from the University of Pretoria.

Gauta is passionate about the realisation socio-economic justice in marginalised communities and volunteers with an NPO known as Mqhele Ye Sizwe (loosely translated as ‘Crown of Nations’), which aims to address gender inequality within the education system and overcoming these barriers by equipping female learners in underprivileged communities.
