Khuselwa Dyantyi

Attorney

Khuselwa joined SECTION27 as Health Rights attorney. She obtained her LLB degree at the University of South Africa (UNISA) and a Diploma in Law at the University of Johannesburg. She is an experienced legal professional in the public interest sector and holds a decade of experience.

She has worked with the Marikana families, the Slovo Park Development Forum, Farm workers’ union, CSAAWU, Abahlali base Mjondolo, the Inner- City Federation, African Reclaimers Organisation, South African Informal Traders Forum, and individual communities.

Having begun her career as a fieldworker and later a receptionist, her passion for human rights, justice as people in general led to her obtaining a Bachelor of Laws degree at the University of South Africa whilst completing her articles with the Socio-Economic Rights Institute (SERI).
