Matshidiso Lencoasa

Budget Analyst

Matshidiso joined SECTION27 in February 2022 as a budget researcher, and currently serves as a budget analyst.

Before joining SECTION27, she studied at the Institute of Development Studies at the University of Sussex, completing a Master’s in International Development and Education as well as at Wits University, where she completed a BCom in Accounting Sciences.

She is a Mandela-Sussex alumna, and a Mandela-Washington alumna based at Cornell University.

Matshidiso enjoys her job in that she is able to fulfil her passion for developing South Africa’s economy in an equitable and inclusive manner through fiscal policy and interventions.
