Patience Phiri

Head of Communications

Patience joined SECTION27 on 3 January 2022 as Head of Communications.

She lead a team that develops and implements strategies that allow SECTON27 to interact meaningfully with its stakeholders.

Being part of a dynamic and passionate team, serving the interests of the most vulnerable in our communities, is why she sticks around. Her role entails using communication tactics as advocacy tools to advance equality and promote social justice.

Patience obtained a degree in Applied Communications Management and an Honors degree in Communications from the University of Fort Hare. Over the years, she has received training from a variety of institutions covering different aspects of communications.
