I am the Executive Director at SECTION27, I started working here in April 2010.

My work focuses on access to healthcare services in the public and private sectors. I work on health policy development and high impact litigation to help advance the right to healthcare, equality and human dignity.

I stay at SECTION27 because I enjoy working with an amazing group of committed human rights lawyers and others to change the world for the better.

Before SECTION27, I practised in the public interest law unit at Webber Wentzel from 2006-2010. I was also a Research Clerk at the International Criminal Court in The Hague during 2008. I hold an LLB from UCT, a BA in Environmental Studies from the State University of New York at Buffalo, and an MA in Environmental Management from Cornell University.
