Sibusisiwe Ndlela

In January 2021 I started working as an attorney in the health rights programme at SECTION27.

Prior to joining SECTION27, I completed an LLB at the University of Cape Town in December 2015; I was admitted as an attorney of the High Court of South Africa in February 2018; I volunteered as a legal intern at Lawyers for Human Rights between June to September 2018; I completed an LLM (Sexual and Reproductive Rights in Africa) with distinction at the University of Pretoria in 2019, and between May 2019 and December 2020 I worked as a Law Researcher at the Supreme Court of Appeal.

My areas of interest include sexual and reproductive health and rights specifically for adolescent girls. I am also interested in human rights litigation; international and regional law; and administrative and constitutional law.
