The Department of Basic Education (DBE) has today filed an affidavit with the North Gauteng High Court in which it states that it has delivered all outstanding CAPS textbooks in Limpopo. A copy of the affidavit is attached below
SECTION27 welcomes this report and hopes that the issue of the 2012 textbooks is now over.
In terms of the Court Order the DBE must file further affidavits on 31 October 2012 and 15 December 2012 reporting on the progress with its commitment to complete delivery of 2013 CAPS textbooks for grades 4, 5, 6, and 11. They must also report to the Court on the progress and outcomes of the catch-up plan and Spring Camp by 31 October.
