SECTION27 made a written submission to the Panel of the market inquiry into the private health sector on 30 October 2014. SECTION27’s submission draws attention to the inequities within what is supposed to be a single, unified health system, the inadequate and incomplete regulatory environments and inefficient under-performing regulators, placing the health, wellbeing and sometimes even the lives of users of the private health care sector at risk.
The organisation intends to make oral submissions as part of the health inquiry process and will continue to document patient testimonials.
