OPEN LETTER | R784 million goes unspent as cancer patients continue to die

On 9 March 2023, Gauteng Treasury ringfenced R784 million for the outsourcing of radiation oncology services – yet a full year later and no service provider has been appointed while over 3 000 cancer patients wait for treatment.
