[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Between 30 June 2017 and 2 July 2017 Basic Education For All (BEFA) held its second elective conference under the theme “Making the Struggle for Quality Basic Education in Limpopo Sustainable”. BEFA, a community-based organization comprised of learners, educators and concerned community members was established in October 2012 with the prime objective of working together with all key stakeholders to promote quality basic education in our public schools. BEFA has worked on numerous issues, most notably on the famous textbooks case, which was won at the Supreme Court of Appeal. Other areas include infrastructure, sanitation, sexual violence, school governance and furniture delivery in Limpopo.
