100 DAYS OF LOCKDOWN – 100 DAYS OF SECTION27’S WORK
100 DAYS OF LOCKDOWN – 100 DAYS OF SECTION27’s WORK
Since the nationwide lockdown to combat COVID-19 was announced, we have been busy at work defending the rights to basic education, basic nutrition and health for all.
Fighting for the rights to basic nutrition & basic education in court; ensuring medicines are properly regulated; mapping zero-rated learning materials & advocating for school safety guidelines; working for equality through budget advocacy; protecting continued access to health services are just some of the ways we have continued our work during Lockdown.
The list continues: supporting the standardisation of working procedures for community health workers at the frontline; demanding transparency in the health response and principled contracting with the private sector; solidarity for local and international struggles; and combatting fake news with Spotlight!
